Heading into 2015

Hello Readers, I am very happy with the response and feedback's that I have received for my articles and blogs here. Its almost 3 years now since I graduated from the University and now I am heading into 2015 which is my 4th year in this Renewable energy industry. I am quite happy how things have shaped up for me in this industry and I am very excited about the future.

Some pictures from the past...

I feel that the overall Indian market is now much mature and customer tend to look into more quality compared to the earlier phases where they were more concerned on the prices. This is good news for the market and also international manufacturers who plan to invest into the solar PV segment in India. The demand for hybrid products based on energy security is the next big thing and also the rooftop segment has huge potential for the Indian market. Also considering the fact that solar power is becoming cheaper day by day and also based on the tariff increase in the domestic segments.

I hope that 2015 will be a great year for everyone in the industry and I wish you all a very happy Christmas and a happy New Year 2015!

Solar hybrid inverters for motor based applications

Indian market has various challenges and different applications requirements for Solar PV based projects. We recently supplied our Zigor hybrid inverter for a manufacturer in Chennai, who have recently ventured into solar PV based application projects. The aim was to build a mobile RO water purification system for remote regions, please find the pictures below.

The hybrid inverter can handle surge current up to 200% of its rated capacity and this made it suitable for this application where pumps and hydraulic systems are used. We successfully commissioned our inverter and the inverters were able to handle the load quite easily.
